Telicia D. Scott, PA-C, MMS a native of Atlanta, GA, is a nationally certified physician assistant practicing medicine for over 16 years. She attended State University of West Georgia where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001. Shortly afterwards, she began work at Grady Health Systems in Atlanta, GA in the Teen Clinic, as she took a special interest in teen centered healthcare. She worked alongside other healthcare professionals to provide health and lifestyle coaching that gave teens the opportunity to make healthy informed decisions. She then obtained her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois in 2004.                                                                     

PA Scott served in the National Health Service Corp from 2008-2013 providing healthcare and education to the underserved community as well as serviced military soldiers in need of deployment readiness. She takes a special interest in diabetes care and it’s ever evolving entities specializing in endocrine over the last 4 years. Her other interests include primary and urgent care medicine, adult and young adult health, thyroid disorders and preventative health. She serves as a preceptor for various Physician Assistant programs playing a major role in the clinical education of PA students. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, an organization committed to sisterhood and scholarship while advocating for change in the community through dedicated public service and social action. She is the co-owner of Prestige Health Primary and Urgent Care Center and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and reading.

Kianna N. Lawson PA-CMPAS received her physician assistant degree from Howard University in Washington DC and completed her undergraduate studies at Spelman College with a major in English and minor in Biology. She received her board certification from the National Association of Physician Assistant in 2006 where she obtained the knowledge to handle a variety of illnesses. Mrs. Lawson has specialized in Diabetes for the past 5 years as well as has practiced in family care, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, endocrinology, gynecology and currently works in Primary Healthcare and Occupational and Urgent CAre Medicine. 

She has been recognized by the U. S. United Pageant System who recognizes women who are making a difference in the community for outstanding personal, professional and community achievements; promoting academics, health and wellness, self-confidence, self-worth, as well as being a positive role model. She is a member of the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and the Co-owner of Prestige Health Primary and Urgent Care Center. She has been a long-standing member with the Decatur-Dekalb Chapter of the NCBW, and has been recently elected as the youngest Chapter President for the organization.  She works with the military as a contractor provider, ensuring quality medical care is being given to soldiers in preparation for deployment. She prides herself in watching her students grow and excel. She is continuously giving of her time and always puts patient care first.  

Mrs. Lawson has worked in the healthcare field as a Physician Assistant for fifteen years, in which she continues to mentor students acting as a preceptor for incoming physician assistant & medical students. She is a part of Spelman’s Sister 2 Sister Mentoring Program, The Decatur-Dekalb Legacy Girl Mentoring Program as well as Mentor for the community. Mrs. Lawson likes to live by the motto “ When it can’t be done, Do It. For if you don’t do it, then it doesn’t exist.
